Tapestry Weaving - Level 1

Tapestry is a pictorial weaving technique and can be woven on any type of a loom, even a simple self-constructed frame loom, and instructions for making one are included in the video. This course includes technical considerations as well as many tapestry techniques. You will learn how to weave horizontal, vertical, diagonal, circular, vertical curving and horizontal curving shapes, using a variety of tapestry techniques as you complete three projects which can be made into pillows. Finishing & mounting methods are also presented.

This course builds a solid foundation for any further tapestry exploration & is a prerequisites for Tapestry Weaving - Level II. If you have not woven before, Introduction to Weaving" is a helpful prerequisite to this course.
