Doubleweave

If you have a small loom, you'll love the flexability that this technique gives you to weave a wider width cloth. If width isn't a concern, you will find many challenges in weaving a double layer of cloth, making one side one color or pattern, and the other side a different color. You will weave a beautiful sampler which incorporates just about all the four harness techniques which are based on the double-weave principle. The sampler will remain an excellent reference for later study. The techniques include weaving two separate layers, folded cloth, tubes, slits, color-and-weave effects, pique, stitching, quilting, and double-weave pick up patterning.

Prerequisites: You should know how to set up a four harness loom and weave a plain weave.
